Our purpose is to make it easy for people like you to help those in need by means of donations. This is made possible by the hard work of our team, who provide this crowdfunding platform for all of us to contribute and make a difference. We aim to help the smaller non-profits who are doing great work and really make a difference, but are struggling to raise funds for their cause.

South Africa is a beautiful country with a unique and diverse culture, but some of the challenges we face are crippling our society. Crime, poverty, housing, food insecurity, unemployment and limited access to education are just a few of the challenges facing us daily. Together, we can help overcome these issues and have a positive impact in the community around us.

How can you get involved in addressing these problems:

1. You donate any amount that you choose!
2. We distribute the donations to those in need!
3. We provide quarterly feedback relating to the impact of your donations!

Our upbringings and circumstances shape and structure our beliefs, ideals and day to day living. Sometimes these make us seem worlds apart even when we live in the same community, however, one fact cannot escape us…We are all HUMAN! We all seek happiness and try to avoid suffering. We all have the same basic needs and concerns. Furthermore, we strive for a sense of freedom and the right to determine our own destiny as individuals. That is human nature, so despite our different ideal's, religious belief's, opinion's and judgment's let us choose to work together and spread happiness.

Let us help people around us and improve their socio-economic conditions and change their circumstances to improve quality of life and strive towards spreading smiles across our country. We have the ability to change lives for the better, so what are we waiting for?

The way we will achieve this is by DONATING!

Donate money to Barnes Squared and with it we can empower, support and encourage those in need. We will distribute your donations to organisations and foundations who are working to improve lives every day. The donations that are deposited via this platform are distributed to the relevant organisations and foundations who have partnered with us. We will also be taking on projects of our own which we believe will have a positive impact.

Barnes Squared is dedicated to making a difference with your help. We believe that there are a lot of people willing to help and contribute, but they don’t always know of a platform which allows a personal and seamless way to do so. That is why Barnes Squared was created - making it easy for willing donors to improve the lives of others. ​We are enthusiastic and eager to help make a difference and as a result make this world a better place.

We understand that not everybody is ready to give large individual contributions to support a good cause. Sometimes it is not practical or reasonable for a willing donor to make a large once-off donation. This platform gives us the opportunity to change our attitudes about giving and integrate it into our busy lives without large amounts of money coming out of our bank accounts. With monthly contributions as the most valuable part of our overall fundraising strategy, we aim at making a difference each month and in addition we give meaningful feedback to our donors each quarter. We will be giving feedback in the form of newsletters, which may be found by scrolling through the menu tab at the top of our website.

About the Name: Barnes Squared NPC

The name of our Non-Profit Company is derived from the our Surname and the fact that we are twins. When we were young, we used to joke that if we ever started a company or some sort of collaboration, we would name it Barnes Squared. So this is our first collaboration together as twin brothers and it is therefore only fitting that we give it the name we once decided upon.
